Establishment of the Valladolid National High School
- Section 1 requires the establishment of a national high school in the Poblacion of the Municipality of Valladolid, Province of Negros Occidental.
- The school must be known as the Valladolid National High School.
- The school’s creation is mandatory for the geographic location specified in Section 1.
Implementing rules and regulations
- Section 2 directs the Department of Education, Culture and Sports to issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the Act.
- The Department’s issuance authority covers administrative and operational measures needed for implementation under Section 2.
Funding and appropriation
- Section 3 requires that the amount necessary to implement the Act be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following enactment.
- Section 3 further requires inclusion of the necessary amount in the General Appropriations Act “and thereafter” to sustain implementation after the initial year.
- The funding requirement in Section 3 is tied to implementation of Republic Act No. 7988 as a continuing obligation.
