Hospital upgrade and designation

Implementing rules timetable

  • Within ninety (90) days from the effectivity of the Act, the Secretary of Health must prepare the implementing rules and regulations (Section 6).
  • The implementing rules and regulations must be prepared upon consultation with the Provincial Government of Quezon and other stakeholders (Section 6).
  • Implementation must be consistent with the hospital development plan (Section 6).

Effect of invalid provisions

  • If any provision or part of the Act is declared unconstitutional, the remaining parts or provisions not affected remain in full force and effect (Section 7).

Repeal and modification clause

  • All laws, executive orders, issuances, rules and regulations inconsistent with the Act are repealed or modified accordingly (Section 8).
