Requirements for Containers and Markings

  • The letters and figures of the markings must be at least two inches in height for clear visibility.

Penalties for Violation

  • Violators of any provision of the Act face:
    • A fine ranging from 100 to 500 pesos, or
    • Imprisonment from 15 days to 3 months, or
    • Both fine and imprisonment.
  • In the case of firms or corporations, criminal liability attaches to the manager, managing director, or person managing the business.

Effectivity of the Law

  • The Act takes effect three months after its approval date.
