Transfer of Implementation Responsibility to SSS
- The Social Security System (SSS) Administrator is tasked to assume responsibility from the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Director-General.
- The SSS must lead the streamlining and harmonization efforts of all government agency and government-owned or controlled corporation ID systems.
Continuity and Enhancement of Prior Work
- The SSS is directed to build upon the groundwork previously established by the NEDA Director-General.
Inter-Agency Cooperation
- The National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), National Statistics Office (NSO), and other relevant agencies as identified by the SSS are mandated to provide assistance.
- This cooperation is critical in developing and implementing the unified multi-purpose ID system.
Funding and Resource Allocation
- The SSS shall utilize its own funds to implement the objectives stated in the Executive Order.
Repeal and Modification of Conflicting Issuances
- Any existing Executive Orders or issuances, or parts thereof, which conflict with this Executive Order are hereby repealed, amended, or modified to conform.
Immediate Effectivity
- The Executive Order takes effect immediately upon signing.
