- The Authentication Unit is part of the Legal Office in the Office of the President.
- Responsible for authenticating documents executed in the Philippines that are intended for use abroad.
- Provides vital public service as part of the organizational structure of the Office of the President.
Transfer of the Authentication Unit
- To maximize personnel utilization to better serve public needs, the Authentication Unit is transferred.
- The unit is moved from the Legal Office, Office of the President, to the Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for General Administration (ODESGA).
Effectivity and Authority
- The transfer takes effect immediately upon issuance.
- The directive is issued by the Executive Secretary by authority of the President.
