- Executive Order No. 292, paragraph 3, Section 31, authorizes the President to reorganize government agencies, including transfer of agencies to different departments.
Transfer of TRB to Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)
- The TRB is hereby transferred from the DOTC to the DPWH.
- Following this transfer, the TRB becomes an attached agency of the DPWH.
- This transfer is intended to better align the TRB’s functions with the agency primarily responsible for infrastructure development.
Repealing Clause
- All prior executive orders, issuances, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this transfer are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.
Effectivity
- The Executive Order takes effect immediately from the date of signing.
- The transfer and associated provisions are binding upon all concerned parties from the specified effective date.
