Scope: PG-13 admission rule
- Children below 13 years of age are allowed to be admitted to PG-13 movies.
- Admission for children below 13 is conditioned on them being accompanied by a parent or an adult.
- It is unlawful to allow an unaccompanied child below 13 inside the theater.
- Theater owners and personnel must apply the PG-13 entry rule within the period covered by the effectivity of the Implementing Rules and Regulations on August 13, 1998.

- Theater lobbies must display three (3) feet-high standees.
- The PG-13 standee must read exactly:
- PG-13
- (Children below 13 allowed only if accompanied by parent or an adult)
- The required standee message must also include:
- PLEASE BE GUIDED.
- The purpose of the standees is to avoid confusion and ensure proper guidance of patrons regarding PG-13 entry rules.
Enforcement and sanctions
- The MTRCB will impose sanctions on theater owners who violate the unlawful admission rule for PG-13 movies.
- Sanctions are also tied to violations of all other provisions of the Implementing Rules and Regulations.
- Theater owners must ensure strict compliance to avoid sanctions.
