Establishment of the national high school
- Section 1 establishes a national high school in Barangay Patac, Municipality of Sto. Tomas, Province of La Union.
- The school is known as Sto. Tomas National High School (Section 1).
- The school’s operation is governed through the Department of Education supervision mandate (Section 1).
Appropriations and funding mechanism
- Section 2 requires the Secretary of Education to immediately include the operationalization of Sto. Tomas National High School in the Department’s program.
- Section 2 directs that the funding for Sto. Tomas National High School be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Implementation powers and rules
- Section 3 empowers the Secretary of Education to issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of Republic Act No. 9596.
