Commencement and Conduct of Trial
- The trial must commence within three days from the arraignment of the accused.
- No postponements are allowed for the initial hearing except under specific circumstances:
- Illness of the accused.
- Other grounds beyond the control of the accused.
Superseding Provisions
- This law overrides any existing laws, executive orders, rules, or regulations to the contrary.
Effectivity of the Law
- The act takes effect immediately upon its approval.
