Authority of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP)
- The NHCP is granted supervisory powers over the preservation and management of Sheikh Karimul Makhdum Mosque.
- The NHCP is mandated to formulate and enforce rules and regulations for the site's protection and maintenance.
Appropriations and Budgeting
- The NHCP Chairman must include the operationalization and preservation activities of the mosque within the Commission's program.
- Funding for these activities shall be provided through allocations in the annual General Appropriations Act.
National Fund-Raising Initiatives
- The NHCP is authorized to organize national fundraising campaigns.
- These campaigns provide opportunities for private sector and public participation in financing the preservation, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of the mosque.
Effectivity Clause
- The law takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication.
- Publication must be in at least two newspapers of general circulation to ensure public awareness.
