Separation and conversion of school
- Section 1 separates the Polo National High School-Malanday Annex in Barangay Malanday, Valenzuela City from the Polo National High School.
- Section 1 converts the annex into an independent national high school.
- The independent school is known as Malanday National High School (Section 1).
Transfer of personnel, assets, liabilities, records
- Section 2 transfers and absorbs all personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Polo National High School–Malanday Annex to Malanday National High School.
- Section 2 provides that the transferred items are effectively taken over by Malanday National High School through the transfer and absorption mechanism.
Department of Education operationalization and funding
- Section 3 requires the Secretary of Education to immediately include the operationalization of Malanday National High School in the Department’s program.
- Section 3 provides that the initial funding of the operationalization is charged against the current year’s appropriation of the Polo National High School–Malanday Annex.
- Section 3 requires that thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of the school is included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Implementing rules within 120 days
- Section 4 directs the Secretary of Education to formulate the rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purpose of the Act.
- Section 4 sets a deadline of one hundred twenty (120) days after the Act’s effectivity for the formulation of the rules and regulations.
