  • Second offense: Fine of Php 4,000.00

Penalties for Operating Outside Authorized Lines and Tampering with Taximeter Seal

  • Offenses: operating outside route, cutting taximeter seal with wire
  • Third offense: Fine of Php 2,000.00

Penalties Related to Vehicle Safety, Emissions, and Driver Licensing

  • Offenses: operating vehicle without service brakes or emergency brakes, unsafe/dilapidated unit, unsightly body, failure to issue fare tickets, excessive smoke emission inside vehicles, employing unlicensed drivers or conductors
  • First offense: Fine of Php 5,000.00
  • Second offense: Fine of Php 1,000.00
  • Third offense: Fine of Php 2,000.00

Penalties for Driver's Uniform Violations, Passenger Safety, and Vehicle Door Regulations

  • Offenses: operating without driver's uniform or ID, allowing bus doors open while moving, overloading passengers, allowing passengers on stepboard
  • First offense: Fine of Php 5,000.00
  • Second offense: Fine of Php 1,000.00
  • Third offense: Fine of Php 1,500.00
  • Specific fine of Php 3,000.00 and summary suspension for not installing required bus doors with confiscation of license until compliance

Penalties for Miscellaneous Violations

  • Offenses: no waybill, no inside plate marking, using PUJ as cargo jeep, broken windshield, unauthorized loading of cargo on passenger seats, absence of official LTFRB sticker, no driver's ID, driving with slippers, no capacity marking, no head or stop light, absence of operator's name and address, no usable spare tire, smoking while driving, absent or nonfunctioning speedometer, and other unspecified violations
  • First offense: Fine of Php 50.00
  • Second offense: Fine of Php 75.00
  • Third offense: Fine of Php 1,000.00

Additional Violations: Illegal Registration and Fake Taximeter Seals

  • Includes operating units illegally registered under a "Kabit Systema"
  • Using taximeter with fake or unauthorized LTFRB seals

Escalating Penalties and Enforcement Procedures

  • From the fourth offense onward on certain violations, an Order to Show Cause will be issued, requiring explanation why CPC should not be suspended or cancelled
  • Payment of fines to LTFRB must be immediate upon issuance of order or authority to register
  • Refusal to pay results in filing of complaint or issuance of order to show cause
  • Confiscation of driver's license and forwarding to LTO for further action
