Salary Rates Based on Court Branches and Province Classification
- Salary rates depend on the number of branches or salas of the Court of First Instance within the same city or municipality.
- In First Class Provinces (including Manila):
- One Branch: Clerk of Court - ₱12,000 per annum.
- Two to Twelve Branches:
- Clerk of Court - ₱13,000 per annum.
- Assistant Clerk of Court - ₱12,600 per annum.
- Branch Clerk of Court - ₱12,000 per annum.
- Thirteen or More Branches:
- Clerk of Court - ₱14,400 per annum.
- Assistant Clerk of Court - ₱13,200 per annum.
- Branch Clerk of Court - ₱12,000 per annum.
- In Second, Third, and Fourth Class Provinces:
- Salary rates are ₱600 less per annum than those for First Class Provinces, respectively.
- In Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Class Provinces:
- Salary rates are ₱1,200 less per annum than those for First Class Provinces, respectively.
Appropriations for Implementation
- Authorizes the appropriation of funds from the National Treasury as necessary to implement the Act.
- No specific amount is stipulated; funding is to be drawn from unappropriated National Treasury funds.
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect immediately upon approval.
- Approved on June 21, 1969.
