Schedule of Laboratory Fees for Pathology
- Gross Pathology (Necropsy) fees vary by animal type and age with rates from ₱50 to ₱300 per head.
- Histopathology services, including microscopic examination, special staining, sectioning, and tissue processing, are charged per slide or case, with prices ranging from ₱50 to ₱300.
- Clinical Pathology includes blood tests such as RBC/WBC count, differential count, blood chemistry (special and routinary), electrolytes, urinalysis, and hematocrit count, with fees between ₱50 to ₱320 per sample.
Virology Diagnostic Fees
- Viral isolation and identification through tissue culture, egg inoculation, and viral identification are uniformly charged ₱450 per sample.
- Serological tests include Agar Gel Precipitation Test (AGPT), Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA), Fluorescent Antibody Test (FAT), Hemagglutination-Hemagglutination Inhibition (HA-HI) Test, and Serum Neutralization Test (SNT);
- Serology fees vary by animal type and disease tested, ranging from ₱75 to ₱1,500 per sample.
- Rabies examination fees include Direct Microscopic Examination at ₱180 and FAT at ₱200 per sample.
Bacteriology Fee Structure
- Laboratory services in bacteriology consist of antibiotic sensitivity tests, bacterial isolation and identification, bacterial typing, water coliform count, fungal isolation and identification, bacterial/fungal count, microbiological assay for antibiotic residues, pathogenicity tests, and salmonella isolation in feeds.
- Fees range from ₱150 to ₱750 depending on the test.
- Serological tests under bacteriology include Rapid Plate Test (RPT), Tube Agglutination Test, and ELISA focused on Brucella, Leptospira, Mycoplasma, Salmonella, among others, with charges generally set between ₱150 and ₱300 per sample.
Parasitology Diagnostic Fees
- Blood parasite examination methods include direct smear, stained smear, and mice inoculation test with fees from ₱15 to ₱60 per sample.
- Fecal examination services include flotation, sedimentation, and larval culture at ₱20 to ₱35 per sample.
- Parasitological serology tests include Card Agglutination Test for Trypanosomes and Anaplasmosis and ELISA for Babesia spp., priced between ₱90 and ₱140 per sample.
- Parasite identification services for tissue parasites and whole parasites are charged ₱170 and ₱50 respectively per sample.
Toxicology Service Fees
- Aflatoxin and other mycotoxin analyses are charged at ₱1,300 per sample.
- Toxicological examinations for volatile and non-volatile substances are priced at ₱450 each.
- Toxicity tests carry a fee of ₱300 per sample.
Repealing Provision
- All previous orders, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this order are repealed to maintain conformity and clarity.
Effectivity
- The order shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation, ensuring adequate public notice.
Administrative Signatories
- The order is adopted by the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture and recommended by the Director IV of the Bureau of Animal Industry, affirming its official status and implementation authority.
