Markings and Identification

  • For airsoft guns without serial numbers, a barcode sticker with a unique serial number will be affixed.
  • Existing serial numbers must be registered as is.

  • Muzzle tips must be painted bright red or orange for not less than 6.35 cm.

Registration Procedures

Transport Regulations

Import and Export Controls

  • Importers/exporters must obtain permits from PNP FED-CSG before shipment.

Airsoft Teams

  • Teams require accreditation from FED-CSG.
  • Must have minimum ten registered airsoft owners, a permanent address, and president.
  • Must abide by a Code of Conduct, Safety, and Rules of Engagement formulated by the Airsoft Association of the Philippines.

Airsoft Game Sites Authorization

  • Operators must request written permission from the local Chief of Police for use of any area as a game site.

Transitional Provisions

  • Current manufacturers, dealers, and owners have six months to comply by securing licenses, registering airsoft guns, and paying fees.

Rescission of Prior Inconsistent Rules

  • Prior inconsistent regulations are rescinded or modified accordingly.

Penalties

  • Violations result in cancellation of Certificate of Registration and confiscation of airsoft rifles/pistols.
  • Civil and criminal charges may be filed as warranted.

Effectivity

  • Circular takes immediate effect upon issuance on December 4, 2007.
