Requirements for Visa Extension and Amendment to Permanent Status Applicants

  • Applicants seeking visa extension or amendment to permanent status are required to submit an NBI Clearance together with their application.

Implementation Timeline

  • The requirement for NBI Clearance in visa extension and amendment to permanent status applications shall take effect fifteen (15) days after receipt by:
    • The Secretary of the Department of Justice.
    • The Office of the National Administrative Register (ONAR), University of the Philippines (UP) Law Center, UP Diliman, Quezon City.
