Restoration and Creation of RTC Branches in Ilocos Sur
- The Regional Trial Court branch in the Municipality of Candon is restored.
- Two additional RTC branches are created within the Province of Ilocos Sur.
- These adjustments increase the total number of RTC branches in Ilocos Sur to eight.
Distribution of RTC Branches in the First Judicial Region
- Abra: 3 branches located in Bangued and Bucay.
- Benguet and Baguio City: 14 branches located in Baguio City, La Trinidad, and Buguias.
- Ilocos Norte and Laoag City: 10 branches located in Laoag City, Batac, and Bangui.
- Ilocos Sur: 8 branches located in Vigan, Narvacan, Candon (restored), Cabugao, and Tagudin.
- La Union: 11 branches located in San Fernando, Agoo, Bauang, and Balaoan.
- Mountain Province: 2 branches located in Bontoc.
- Pangasinan, Dagupan City, and San Carlos City: 24 branches located in Lingayen, Dagupan City, Urdaneta, Villasis, Tayug, Rosales, Alaminos, Burgos, and San Carlos City.
Appropriations and Implementation
- The act provides for the funding necessary to support the restored and newly created RTC branches.
- The law takes effect immediately upon approval (May 5, 1992).
