Prohibition of Parking on Reserved Lanes and Along Commonwealth Avenue
- Parking is strictly prohibited on the reserved PUB, PUJ, and motorcycle lanes.
- Only emergency vehicles on official duty are exempted from this parking prohibition.
- Additionally, parking along sidewalks and all parts of Commonwealth Avenue is also banned and strictly enforced.
Rules Governing Right Turning Movements
- Drivers intending to turn right must provide adequate advance warning by signaling their intention.
- Adequate advance warning involves turning on the signal light and merging into the rightmost lane 100 meters before an intersection if there are no yellow broken lines.
- If yellow broken lines are present, the driver must signal and merge into the right lane upon reaching these lines.
Speed Limit on Commonwealth Avenue
- The maximum allowable speed for all vehicles, including public utility buses, jeepneys, and motorcycles, on Commonwealth Avenue is set at 60 kilometers per hour.
Penalties for Violation of the Regulation
- Violators of the regulation will incur a fine of One Thousand Two Hundred Pesos (Php1,200.00).
- Such penalties are imposed without prejudice to other liabilities under existing traffic laws and regulations.
Repealing and Amending Provisions
- Any regulations, resolutions, or issuances inconsistent with the provisions of this regulation are repealed, superseded, or modified accordingly.
Effectivity of the Regulation
- The regulation takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in two newspapers of general circulation.
