Land Reserved for Low-Cost Housing in Tondo

Section 83 of Commonwealth Act No. 141 authorizes the President to reserve land for public housing purposes.
The President issues the reservation upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
The reserved land is administered by the People’s Homesite and Housing Corporation for low-cost housing projects.

Proclamation No. 187 establishes the reservation of land in Tondo, City of Manila as a site for low-cost housing projects.

The reserved tract is located in the District of Tondo, City of Manila.
The tract is bounded on the north by the Tondo Tenement House of the Government and the Estero de Vitas.
The tract is bounded on the east by private properties.
The tract is bounded on the south by Azcarraga Street.
The tract is bounded on the west by the Dewey Boulevard Extension.
The reservation remains subject to future survey, which may affect the final description of the tract.

The land is reserved under the administration of the People’s Homesite and Housing Corporation.
The reservation is subject to private rights if any there be, preserving existing private rights.
The President’s reservation covers the land as described, while recognition of boundaries is subject to future survey.

The proclamation is executed in the City of Manila on June 17, 1950.
The seal of the Republic of the Philippines is affixed to the proclamation.
The proclamation is countersigned by TEODORO EVANGELISTA, Executive Secretary.
