Davao City Gov't Land Reservation Proclamation

The proclamation withdraws from sale or settlement a specific parcel of the private domain of the Government.
The parcel is reserved for City Government offices site purposes.
The reserved land is placed under the administration of the City of Davao.
The reservation is made subject to private rights, if any there be.

The reserved property is Lot 79-C-1-B, Psd-3274 (City of Davao).
The proclamation identifies the parcel as a portion connected to subdivision plan references, including Lot 79-C-1-C of the subdivision plan Psd-3274 and related plan and record identifiers.
The proclamation states the parcel’s boundaries using named adjacent lots and streets, including:
- NE. by lot 79-C-1-A and Magallanes Street 20.00 meters wide,
- SE. by Calle Belton 20.00 meters wide,
- S. by lot 79-C-2 of plan Bsd-10584,
- SW. by lot 80 of Davao Townsite, and
- NW. by lot 80 of Davao Townsite and lot 179-C-1-A of the subdivision plan.
The proclamation sets forth a complete metes-and-bounds description by bearings and distances, including:
- starting from a point marked 1 described as S. 68A 06a2 W., 6.72 meters from monument 13, Davao Townsite; and
- continuing through points 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 to the point of beginning.
The proclamation states the parcel contains an area of 18,943 square meters, more or less.
The proclamation states that all points referred to are indicated on the plan and marked on the ground, specifying monument types (including old B.P.W., D.C.S.M. concrete monument, old corners, and P.L.S. concrete monuments), and includes the surveying declination and survey dates:
- declination 0A 34a2 E.
- original survey June 12-August 28, 1908
- subdivision survey April 12, 1951

The proclamation is signed by RAMON MAGSAYSAY as President of the Philippines.
It is countersigned “By the President” by FORTUNATO DE LEON, Acting Executive Secretary.
The proclamation is executed at Manila on March 06, 1956 and references the tenth year of independence in its execution clause.
