Designation of Gateway Call Center as IT Building

Republic Act No. 7916 (Special Economic Zone Act of 1995), as amended by Republic Act No. 8748, vests the President with authority to create and designate certain buildings as information technology buildings.
Proclamation No. 645 is issued pursuant to that authority and on the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).
Proclamation No. 645 designates the subject building subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and PEZA Board Resolutions Nos. 00-411 and 04-432.

Proclamation No. 645 creates and designates the Gateway Call Center Office as an Information Technology Building.
The designation is expressly made to align with Republic Act No. 7916 and its amended framework for special economic zones and related IT building approvals.

The building stands on a parcel of land located at Barangay Socorro, Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila.
The designated land parcel contains an area of Two Thousand Five Hundred Fifty One (2,551) square meters, more or less.
The designation is made subject to the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, and PEZA Resolutions Nos. 00-411 and 04-432.

The land is identified as Lot 4 under Pcs-00-011029, being a portion of Lot 2-B, (LRC) Psd-307275 and Lot 3, Pcs-26027 LRC Record No. 317.
The parcel is stated to be situated in Barangay Socorro, Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Island of Luzon.
The parcel is bounded on the NE. along line 1-2 by Lot 3; on the NW & NE. along lines 2-3-4-5 by Lot 5; and on the SE. along line 5-1 by Lot 3, all of the subdivision plan.
The technical description includes a commencement point “1” marked on plan, referenced as N.62 deg. 32aE., 1,118.77 m. from BLBM No. 1, Cubao, Quezon City, followed by the listed bearing and distance calls:

The proclamation states that all points referred to are indicated on the plan and marked on the ground by PS cyl. Conc. Mons. 15 x 40 cm, and it references the dates of survey: May 20, 1920 (Magdalena Estate) and March 09, 2004 (consolidation-subdivision survey) approved on March 24, 2004.

The proclamation is signed and sealed: “In Witness Whereof,” the President sets her hand and affixes the seal of the Republic of the Philippines.
