Coverage: institutions and eligible students

- The detailing of army officers and their conduct of the ROTC course are provided without charge to the colleges and universities concerned.
- The Chief of Staff shall supply the necessary military equipment without expense to the colleges and universities concerned.
- Colleges and universities must bear only the expense related to the care and safekeeping of the supplied equipment.
- Colleges and universities must bear the expense involved in furnishing the regulation bonds.
Government recognition, enforcement, and compliance standard
- For institutions recognized by the Government, failure to comply with Executive Order No. 207 is sufficient justification for the Secretary of Public Instruction to have such recognition withdrawn.
- For institutions hereafter, government recognition is not granted unless the institution’s curriculum includes the prescribed military instruction required by Executive Order No. 207.
- Executive Order No. 207 makes ROTC inclusion a condition for government recognition for covered institutions.

Exemptions and limits on waiver
