Directive to Local Government Bodies
- Section 2 directs the Department of Local Government to carry out the purpose of the Act.
- Section 2 specifically directs the Department of Local Government to act through the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Tarlac and the Sangguniang Bayan of Bamban.

- Republic Act No. 6829 originated in the House of Representatives, and was finally passed by the House on November 21, 1989 and by the Senate on September 22, 1989.
