Registry and Record-Keeping

  • Mandates the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to develop and maintain a registry of all protocol license plates issued.
  • Registry covers all authorized officials and corresponding motor vehicles.

Implementing Guidelines and Processes

  • DOTr and Land Transportation Office (LTO) to issue implementing guidelines within thirty (30) days from effectivity.
  • Guidelines to cover application, approval, issuance, return, confiscation, and other procedural aspects.
  • Guidelines must not expand the list of authorized officials beyond this Order's provisions.

Severability Clause

  • Invalidity or unconstitutionality of any part does not affect the remaining provisions.
  • Remaining sections remain in full force.

Repeal of Prior Issuances

  • EO No. 400, as amended, is repealed.
  • Other inconsistent issuances, orders, rules, or parts thereof are repealed or modified accordingly.

Effectivity

  • Order takes effect immediately upon publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
