Designation of District Office for Registration

  • Each Regional Office shall designate one specific district office responsible for registering chop-chop motor vehicles within that region.

  • When an importer/dealer submits a stock report within the region, the Regional Office will issue confirmations for the engine and chassis.
  • These confirmations are valid solely within the issuing regional area.

Issuance of BOC CPAs and BIR Clearances

  • The Registration Section, Central Office is responsible for issuing confirmations related to BOC (Bureau of Customs) Certificates of Payment for engines and chassis.
  • The BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) clearance is also issued by the Central Office Registration Section.

Reporting and Monitoring Procedures

  • Regional Offices must submit monthly reports to the Registration Section, Central Office.
  • This reporting facilitates monitoring and reconciliation of registration records across regions.

Amendments to Previous Issuances

  • This memorandum circular supersedes and amends any prior issuances that conflict with these guidelines.
