Arthur P. Autea: assigned functions

  • Deputy Executive Secretary Arthur P. Autea shall process pardons, parole, and executive clemency.

Jose T. Tale: assigned functions

  • Deputy Executive Secretary Jose T. Tale shall process Presidential issuances consisting of:
    • Executive Orders,
    • Proclamations,
    • Administrative Orders,
    • Memorandum Orders, and
    • Memorandum Circulars.

Continuing responsibilities and consistency limit

  • The named Deputy Executive Secretaries shall continue to exercise the other responsibilities they currently have.
  • Continued responsibilities apply in so far as these are not inconsistent with the redistributed responsibilities stated in the circular.

Existing memorandum orders and authorized signatories

  • Existing Memorandum Orders on the disposition and authorized signatories of cases appealed to the Office of the President shall continue in force and effect.
  • Continuation depends on compliance with the provisions of those existing Memorandum Orders.

Other continuing OP responsibilities

  • The Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs shall continue to have responsibility over the Legislative Office.
  • The Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs shall continue to have responsibility over the Political Affairs Office.

Additional tasks by directive

  • The Deputy Executive Secretaries shall perform such other tasks and assignments as may be directed by the Executive Secretary from time to time.
