Incumbent Representatives Continuity
- Section 2 provides that the incumbent Representatives of the Second (2nd) and Fourth (4th) Legislative Districts of Batangas continue to represent the reconfigured districts.
- The incumbent Representative of the Second (2nd) Legislative District continues to represent the City of Batangas until the new Representative of the Fifth (5th) Legislative District is elected and qualified.
- The incumbent Representative of the Fourth (4th) Legislative District continues to represent the City of Lipa until the new Representative of the Sixth (6th) Legislative District is elected and qualified.
Commission on Elections Implementation Rules
- Section 3 directs the Commission on Elections to issue the necessary rules and regulations to implement the Act.
Repealing Clause for Inconsistencies
- Section 4 repeals, amends, or modifies all laws, rules, and regulations that are inconsistent with the Act.
Effectivity and Publication
- Section 5 provides that the Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in any newspaper of general circulation.
- The Act is Republic Act No. 10673 and is approved on August 19, 2015.
