- Article 125 of the Revised Penal Code, which ordinarily limits detention without charges to six hours, is suspended for these detainees for up to 30 days from their delivery to Commonwealth authorities.
Provisional Bail Release Authorization
- The Solicitor-General is empowered to grant provisional bail to detainees requesting release, except if strong evidence exists of a capital offense.
- Bail forms accepted include money, Philippine or US bonds, guarantees by bonding companies, or two or more solvent sureties.
