  • The commission en banc may permit, on a temporary or emergency basis, cases to be heard and decided by divisions other than the one with jurisdiction over the case.
  • Such transfer is allowed only if the other division’s docket can handle the additional workload.
  • The transfer should not cause unnecessary additional expense to the litigants.

Amendment and Repeal of Inconsistent Laws

  • Any laws, decrees, executive orders, letters of instructions, letters of implementation, rules or regulations inconsistent with this Act are repealed, modified, superseded, or amended accordingly.

Effectivity

  • The Act takes effect 15 days after complete publication in the Official Gazette or in at least two national newspapers of general circulation, whichever occurs earlier.
