Approved Customs Uniform Specifications
- Customs Police must wear the Customs Police Uniform.
- CIIS personnel must wear a white Barong with the Customs Seal.
- Other Customs personnel must wear either a white Barong with the Customs Seal or the new standard suit designated for Passenger Service Personnel.
Scope and Application of the Prohibition
- The prohibition applies at all times when entering the International Passenger Terminal at NAIA.
- It is effective immediately from the date of issuance.
Exceptions to the Uniform Requirement
- Customs personnel who are passengers arriving or departing on that day are exempted.
- Customs intelligence operatives conducting covert surveillance missions inside the terminal are exempted if:
- The mission is authorized by a specific, written Mission Order signed by the Service Chief.
- A copy of the Mission Order is furnished to the Commissioner of Customs.
- The Mission Order is for a distinct, specific operation and limited to a duration not exceeding 72 hours.
- General or periodic mission orders permitting unrestricted access are prohibited.
