Penalties for Violation
- Violators shall face penalties comprising:
- A fine not exceeding Five Thousand Pesos (₱5,000.00), or
- Imprisonment of not less than five years, or
- Both such fine and imprisonment, at the discretion of the court.
- If an association or corporation commits the violation, criminal liability is attributed to the responsible principal officers, including the president, director, manager, or managing partner.
Effectivity of the Act
- The law takes effect immediately upon its approval.
- The date of approval was June 21, 1969.
