Coverage and regulated activity
- The circular prescribes the parking fees to be charged at the Port of Dapitan.
- Fees apply to vehicles of the types expressly listed in the circular: Private Vehicle, Motorcyle (two-wheeled), Motorcabs, and Lost Ticket cases.
- All stated rates are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT).
Parking fee schedule (VAT-inclusive)
- For a Private Vehicle, the rate is PHP 30.00 for the first two (2) hours, and the rate for the succeeding hour is PHP 10.00 (VAT inclusive).
- For a Motorcyle (two-wheeled), the rate is PHP 15.00 for the first two (2) hours, and the rate for the succeeding hour is PHP 5.00 (VAT inclusive).
- For a Motorcabs, the rate is PHP 25.00 for the first two (2) hours, and the rate for the succeeding hour is PHP 10.00 (VAT inclusive).
- For a Lost Ticket, the charge is PHP 100.00.
Lost ticket charge rule
- When a parking ticket is lost, the applicable parking charge is PHP 100.00 (VAT inclusive).
Implementation and enforcement mechanics
- Parking charges at the Port of Dapitan must follow the circular’s VAT-inclusive rates by vehicle type and hour threshold.
- The circular’s fee framework is implemented through the effective date rule: thirty (30) days after publication in a local newspaper.
