Creation of Information Materials
- OWWA is responsible for producing comprehensive print and audiovisual materials to supplement the orientation program.
- These materials serve as important tools in educating workers before their departure.
Mandatory Attendance and Documentation Requirements
- Attendance at the OWWA-administered PDOS is a mandatory requirement under the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) for issuing travel exit documents to Canada-bound Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
- Compliance with this PDOS is linked directly to the processing and approval of travel documents.
Implementation and Issuance of Guidelines
- OWWA is directed to promulgate Implementing Guidelines for the PDOS within fifteen days from the issuance of this Department Order.
- The guidelines will provide detailed procedures and standards for the seminar.
Repeal of Inconsistent Issuances
- All previous issuances that conflict with this Order are repealed to ensure consistency and clarity.
Directive for Strict Compliance
- The Order is issued for strict compliance by all concerned agencies and parties handling the deployment of Filipino professionals and skilled workers to Canada.
