Eligibility Criteria
- Must have been Filipino citizens before and previously passed Philippine licensure exams for their profession.
- Must have been practitioners of good standing both before leaving the Philippines and in their adopted countries.
Conditions for Practice
- Allowed to practice their profession while visiting, sojourning, or residing permanently in the Philippines.
- Must register with the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) before practicing.
- Must pay the corresponding professional license fee to the PRC.
- Income derived from their professional practice in the Philippines is subject to applicable income tax.
Regulatory Authority and Implementation
- The Professional Regulations Commission is mandated to promulgate rules and regulations necessary to implement the decree.
Effectivity
- The decree took effect immediately upon its signing, ensuring immediate applicability of its provisions.
