Authorization for Tuberculosis Society's Campaign

FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, acts by virtue of the powers vested in the President by law.
The campaign is authorized because the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc. provides services and programs supportive and complementary to health and social welfare programs of the Government.
The campaign is authorized to enable the Society to pursue humanitarian programs and services through continuous community assistance.
The proclamation links the authorization to assistance for some 500,000 indigent clients.
The proclamation ties the need for the campaign to the Society’s 85th year.

The Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc. is authorized to conduct a national educational and fund campaign.
The authorization covers both education and fund-raising activities.
