Liability for Treatment by Visitors
- Bureau of Corrections hospital and staff are not liable for any adverse incidents arising from treatment given by visiting medical personnel.
- Limits institutional responsibility for outside medical interventions.
Medicine Handling and Dispensing
- Medicines brought by visitors for detainees/prisoners must be deposited at the NBP Hospital Pharmacy.
- The hospital pharmacist is responsible for dispensing these medicines.
- Ensures controlled and secure distribution of medication.
Liability and Safety of Visitors
- Bureau of Corrections disclaims any liability for visitor risks and does not guarantee visitor safety within hospital premises.
- Clarifies the limits of institutional responsibility toward visiting personnel.
Location for Medical Consultations
- Visiting doctors and dentists are permitted to use the NBP Hospital Consultation Room for examinations and consultations.
- Provides an official and designated area for outside medical practitioners to deliver care.
