Legal basis and authority
- Executive Order No. 205 is issued pursuant to Section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code.
- The President acts to reorganize local political units under the authority to create an independent municipality.
Purpose and resulting municipal creation
- Executive Order No. 205 organizes specified barrios and sitios of the municipality of Caramoan, Province of Camarines Sur into an independent municipality.
- The independent municipality shall be named Anderson.
- The seat of government of Anderson is established at the barrio of San Miguel.
Municipal territory: covered areas
- Executive Order No. 205 includes the following barrios from Caramoan, Camarines Sur: San Miguel, Harrison, Toytoy, Sumaoy, Binagasbasan and Denrica.
- Executive Order No. 205 includes the following sitios from Caramoan, Camarines Sur: San Vicente, Cagamotan, Tamiawon, Lamit, and Pulon Daga.
- Executive Order No. 205 includes the following islands and nearby islands: the Malabungot islands, Lamit islands, Quinalanag island, and a number of smaller islands nearby.
Municipal boundary: line-by-line description
- Executive Order No. 205 defines the municipal boundaries of Anderson by reference to geographic points, rivers, ridges, and shorelines.
- The boundary begins at point Imad, approximately 24 kilometers NW. of barrio Hibgos, then runs via a straight line with approximate direction of SW. to Lidong, and continues by straight and river-following segments.
- The boundary follows the Cabinitan River upstream to a point one kilometer upstream of said Cabinitan River.
- The boundary then runs by a straight line to Saddle Peak, then a straight line with a direction of northwest to Mount Tiis, and continues northwest to intersect the Sipaco River near the boundary of the Agricultural Colony.
- From that intersection, the boundary follows the Sipaco River down to the mouth, then follows the beach line until the depression near Denrica, and then runs by a straight line to a point near Mapid.
Local government officers required for effectivity
- Executive Order No. 205 requires that the mayor and vice-mayor of Anderson be appointed and qualified before the organization takes effect.
- Executive Order No. 205 requires that a majority of the municipal councilors of Anderson be appointed and qualified for the organization to take effect.
