Legal basis and enabling authority

Scope: effect on the municipality of Pandan
- The municipality of Pandan retains its present territory minus the barrios, sitios, and island transferred into Caramoran.
Boundary rule between Caramoran and Pandan
- The boundary line between Caramoran and Pandan is a straight line.
- The line starts from a point on the coast of Cobo Bay, located somewhere southwest of the poblacion of the barrio of Cobo in the municipality of Pandan, and northwest of the poblacion of the barrio of Camboro in the municipality of Caramoran.
- The line runs inland southeasterly to the point where it intersects the present boundary line between the municipalities of Pandan and Panganiban.
- The boundary is represented in the referenced map of the municipality of Pandan prepared and submitted by the Assistant Civil Engineer of Catanduanes, March 3, 1947, specifically by the line marked “Proposed municipal boundary of Caramoran and Pandan” and including the boundary as shown during the American Occupation.
