- Detailed metes and bounds are provided for both parcels.
Usufruct Disposition Scheme
- The Philippine National Police (PNP) will administer the property.
- The usufruct scheme involves qualified bona fide occupants who shall occupy the lands.
Role of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC)
- HUDCC will assist in organizing a Local Inter-Agency Committee (LIAC) as mandated by Memorandum Order No. 74, September 13, 2002.
- LIAC will facilitate and expedite post-proclamation activities necessary to transfer the land to bona fide occupants.
- The goal is early disposition and development of a viable community using participatory planning and suitable development methods.
Formalization
- The proclamation was signed by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on January 19, 2004, in Manila.
- The Executive Secretary, Alberto G. Romulo, countersigned the proclamation.
