Requirements for Grantees on Verifiable CPC

  • Mandatory compliance; failure to secure CPC results in denial of applications and non-confirmation of authorized units.
  • Annotations required on CPC for approved changes or revisions; surrender of CPC is prerequisite to releasing approved petitions or applications.

Confirmation Certificate and Franchise Sticker Procedure

  • Issuance upon presentation of Land Transportation Office (LTO) official receipt for yearly vehicle registration.
  • Grantees with new CPCs or newly registered units must submit new OR and CR and secure these documents within 30 days of LTO registration.
  • Penalty imposed for non-compliance: Php 1,000.00 fine per month or fraction thereof after 30-day compliance period.

Cost Structure

  • On-line verifiable CPC: Php 250.00 for the first page, Php 100.00 for each additional page.
  • Confirmation Certificate and Franchise Sticker: Php 200.00 per set.
  • Grantees with 2014 registrations and previous payments of Php 75.00 must pay an additional Php 125.00 per unit starting July 1, 2014.

Implementation and Effectivity

  • Supersedes inconsistent issuances or parts thereof.
  • Effective immediately upon newspaper publication and filing with UP Law Center as mandated by Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11.
  • Signed by the LTFRB Board members on May 23, 2014, in Quezon City, Philippines.
