  • Assess employment conditions of agricultural engineers including legal credentials, duties, compensation, and workplace safety.
  • Evaluate if design, operation, and maintenance conform to Philippine Agricultural Engineering Standards (PAES).

Required Manpower Complement

  • All inspected offices/establishments must employ or engage at least one registered and licensed agricultural engineer as per Board Resolution No. 01, Series of 1998.

Certificate of Compliance

  • Issued to offices/establishments that comply with relevant laws and employ required agricultural engineers.
  • Requires payment of prescribed fees.
  • Validity of the Certificate is three (3) years.

Penalties for Violations

  • Violators of RA 8559 face fines from Fifty Thousand Pesos (₱50,000) to Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (₱200,000).
  • Possible imprisonment ranging from six (6) months to three (3) years.
  • Penalties may be imposed jointly or separately based on court discretion.

Separability Clause

  • Invalidity of any provision shall not affect the remaining provisions of the resolution.

Effectivity Clause

  • Resolution takes effect fifteen (15) days after publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation in the Philippines.
