Funding of the Campaign

  • Funding for the activities, programs, and projects comes from the five percent (5%) Gender and Development budget allocated to government agencies and LGUs.
  • This allocation is in accordance with Section 36 of Republic Act No. 9710 (The Magna Carta of Women).

Severability Clause

  • If any provision of the Act is declared unconstitutional or invalid, the remaining provisions continue to be effective and valid.

Effectivity

  • The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in two national newspapers of general circulation.
