General Rule on Late Arrival

  • Examinees arriving after the start of the examination under normal conditions are not allowed to take the exam.

Exceptions and Special Circumstances

  • In cases of extraordinary events such as severe floods, typhoons, transport strikes, or serious threats to peace and order (e.g., mass rallies, mutiny, coup d'état):
    • The examination start time shall be delayed accordingly.
    • The finishing time will also be adjusted to maintain exam duration.
    • All test centers observe the adjusted schedules uniformly.
  • Examinees arriving after the adjusted start time will not be admitted.

Examination Room Procedure for Late Examinees

  • Room watchers are required to record:
    • The exact arrival time of late examinees on the Record of Attendance sheet.
    • Remarks specifically stating “LATE - NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE EXAM.”

Effectivity

  • The resolution takes effect fifteen (15) days after official publication.
  • Publication occurs either in the Official Gazette or in a widely circulated Philippine newspaper, whichever comes first.
