Psychiatric Clearance Requirement for Firearms Possession

All BuCor employees or applicants seeking to possess firearms must secure psychiatric clearance from the designated group of BuCor psychiatrists.
The secured clearance must be presented with their applications for the approval of the Director of Corrections.

Psychiatric Examination for Employees Scheduled for Promotion

In addition to new applicants, all BuCor employees who are slated for promotion will also undergo psychiatric examination by the designated group.
