  • Faculty exempt from civil service exams but may be subject to other professional requirements.
  • RA 8292 (Higher Education Modernization Act) integrated as governing part of NSCA’s rules.

General Provisions

  • Other powers and responsibilities per laws applicable to state colleges are deemed granted to NSCA.
  • Inconsistent laws, rules, and regulations are repealed or modified accordingly.
  • The Act takes effect upon approval.
