National Youth Day

Program of Activities

- Activities include discussions/forums on career paths, sustainable development, environmental preservation, gender equality, and mental health.
- NYC may partner with local and international youth groups to facilitate activities.
- Schools, colleges, and universities are encouraged to conduct leadership training, youth empowerment workshops, basic mass integration, and community immersion activities.
- School administrations must support student activities in line with institution policies.
- Local youth offices must create programs aimed at holistic youth development.
Implementing Rules and Regulations
- NYC, in coordination with DepEd, CHED, TESDA, SK, NUSP, and other youth organizations, shall promulgate implementing rules within 60 days from effectivity.
Appropriations
- Initial funding sourced from existing budget allocations of NYC, DepEd, CHED, and SK.
- Subsequent funding to be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Separability Clause
- If any part of the law is declared unconstitutional, the remaining provisions continue to be effective.
Repealing Clause
- Repeals or modifies any laws, decrees, executive orders, or regulations inconsistent with this Act.
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect 15 days after publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
