Lead agency for annual observance
- Section 2 provides that the Department of Education is the lead agency for the National Teachers’ Day.
- Section 2 requires that the annual program of activities be prepared and implemented with the Department of Education as the lead agency, in order to support the observance of National Teachers’ Day.
Effectivity and publication rule
- Section 3 provides that Republic Act No. 10743 takes effect fifteen (15) days after its complete publication.
- Section 3 states that publication must be in the Official Gazette or in at least two (2) newspapers of general circulation, whichever comes earlier.
- Section 3 makes the fifteen (15)-day effectivity period run from the point when the statute is completely published using the required publication channel(s).
