Transfer of Personnel, Assets, Liabilities, and Records
- All personnel of Nabitasan Elementary School are transferred to the Nabitasan Integrated School.
- Assets, liabilities, and records of the former elementary school are likewise absorbed by the integrated school.
Operationalization and Funding
- The Secretary of Education is mandated to immediately include the operationalization of Nabitasan Integrated School in the Department of Education's program.
- Funding for the integrated school will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Formulation of Implementing Rules and Regulations
- The Secretary of Education must formulate rules and regulations to implement the provisions of the Act within ninety (90) days from its approval.
- These implementing rules shall cover the school's organization, administration, operations, and management.
- Rulemaking shall comply with Republic Act No. 9155 (Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001), Republic Act No. 10533 (Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013), and other basic education-related laws.
Effectivity of the Act
- The Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation.
Legislative Approval and Enactment
- The Act originated in the House of Representatives and was passed by the House on January 31, 2023.
- The Senate passed the Act on March 20, 2023.
- It was approved by the President on June 15, 2023, thereby becoming law.
