Authority and legislative act
- Republic Act No. 6368 is enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled.
- Republic Act No. 6368 establishes the Municipality of Kadingilan through Section 1 and governs its corporate existence through Section 2.
Municipality creation and seat of government
- Section 1 separates specific barrios from the Municipality of Kibawe, Province of Bukidnon.
- Section 1 creates a new, distinct, and independent municipality known as the Municipality of Kadingilan, in the same province of Bukidnon.
- The seat of government of the new municipality is set in the present site of Barrio Kadingilan.
- Section 1 enumerates the barrios separated from Kibawe as: Kadingilan, Pay-as, Bagor, San Andres (Kidalog), Mabuhay (Pidlangaban), Cabadiangan, Matampay, Kibalagon, Husayan, Salvaclon, Ma-linao, Baroy, New Sibunga, Balaoro, Macati-ac, and Pina-manguhan.
Geographic boundaries and limits
- Section 1 provides that the Municipality of Kadingilan shall be bounded by described lines using geographic points on Plan, Municipality of Kadingilan, Bukidnon and natural features.
- The boundary description starts at point marked 1 on the plan at longitude 124° 56' 30" E and latitude 7° 38' 54" N, located on the west bank of Mulita river.
- The boundary follows through downstream and upstream courses of specified creeks and rivers, including Mulita river, Lagasan creek-Mulita river junction, Nigan creek-Mulita river junction, Marak creek, Matibugao-Taliguba creeks, Maradugao river-Taliguba creek junction, and Kidanguin-Mara-dugao rivers junction.
- Section 1 continues through junctions and watercourse segments, including routes involving Kidanguin river, Ini-wan creek Kidanguin river junction, Anapuan river, and ends with a due east straight line to longitude 124° 54' 57" E to the top of certain hill at Bocboc Marsh, then a distance back to the point of beginning.
- The described final segment includes distances of 5,670 meters more or less and 2,700 meters, returning to the starting point.
Corporate existence and first officials
- Section 2 provides that the new municipality acquires corporate existence upon the election and qualification of the first mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors.
- The first mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors are to be elected in the next general election for local officials.
Effective date
- Section 3 states that the Act takes effect upon its approval.
