Continuity of Existing Officials
- The current local officials of the Municipal District of San Luis—namely the mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors—shall continue to hold their respective positions in the newly created municipality.
- These officials will retain their roles until their successors are elected in the next regular elections for provincial and municipal offices.
- Successors must also have qualified to officially assume office.
Effectivity of the Law
- The law becomes effective immediately upon its approval.
- No additional conditions or procedures are required for its effectivity beyond official approval.
